Do you want to help keep West Kirby and the surrounding areas clean and pleasant for us all to use?

Come and join our group of volunteers on family friendly litter picks on the beaches, heathland and parks in the beautiful west Wirral area.  Meet other volunteers and help us choose new locations.  We contact schools, with the family’s permission, to acknowledge children’s contribution to their local environment.

These are just some of the images from our most recent event which took place on Sunday 7th June where we met to clean up the beach at West Kirby.

Further events will be arranged soon so do keep an eye on the Transition Town West Kirby facebook group where we’ll be adding all future dates.  We do have some kit available to borow should you need, so come and have a good time helping the environment and your local community!  Remember to wear stout footwear and clothing suitable for the weather.  All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Help keep your community clean and tidy one piece of litter at a time!
